INFINITIVO PRETERITO

Tiempos Verbales
Pasado simple, pasado continuo, pretérito perfecto, pretérito pluscuamperfecto
Simple past tense - Pasado simple: Es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que tuvieron lugar en el pasado.
Ej.: she danced with Mike (Ella bailó con Mike)
Encontramos dos tipos de pasado simple: el regular o el irregular. Para formar el pasado simple de los VERBOS REGULARES tenemos que añadir el sufijo -ed al infinitvo. Para formar el pasado simple de los VERBOS IRREGULARES no se sigue ninguna regla.
Forma negativa del pasado simple:
Sujeto + did not o didn´t +verbo de la acción en infinitivo + Complementos.
Ej.: I did not/didn´t go to the gym yesterday (Ayer no fui al gimnasio )
Forma interrogativa del pasado simple:
Did + sujeto + verbo de la acción en infinitivo + Complementos.
Ej.: Did you go to the gym yesterday? (¿fuiste ayer al gimnasio?)
Past continuous - Pasado continuo : tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que tuvieron lugar en el pasado, pero en un momento concreto.
Ej.: I was washing the dishes when Jane came in. ( Estaba lavando los platos cuando Jane entró)
Se forma con el pasado del verbo (to) be (was were) más el verbo de la acción en gerundio (Infinitivo+-ing).
Forma negativa del pasado continuo:
Sujeto + was not o wasn´t / were not o weren´t +verbo de la acción en gerundio+ Complementos.
Ej.: I was not cleaning your shoes (No estaba limpiando tus zapatos)
